For over seven years I have been using social networking sites to write blogs, take photos and make videos under the name StylistBrighton or 'The Brighton Fashion Stylist'. It all started as a hobby to learn video editing to combine photography and life blogs.
Social media was used to promote my freelance work as a fashion stylist /photoshoot coordinator and model. I also gained experience working in TV Production on various projects on set and in post Production.
The StylistBrighton and StylistBrightonStyle names are best known on Youtube where they are part of the YouTube community, each channel has a loyal subscriber base and has had over 100,000 combined views on videos from all over the world. Through Youtube I have been picked up by various companies for work as a model, online video presenter and to produce video content for campaigns. Youtube has enabled video collaborations with people across the world inspiring a 2008 USA road trip.
Stylish Productions was born in early 2009 starting as a online video production company. Stylish Productions has worked on producing content in the form of online videos with different clients from musicians, Poster artists, documentary film makers to brands like Shiny Media, Vodafone and Squiz.
In 2010 Stylish Productions launched 'StylistBrighton Style', a youtube channel specialising in showcasing fashion designers, artists, events and anything else creative or interesting in or around Brighton. In 2010 StylistBrighton Style was given access all areas at Brighton Fashion Week for some exclusive photography and video footage including interviews with Barbara Hulanicki, the founder of legandary fashion label Biba.
Stylish Productions is now working with local writers, directors, other actors and artists to produce comedy and other interesting content.
